Not enough space herein to dedicate what is truly deserving of these Amercian Aesthetic Movement bottle flasks. Japonesque Faux Cloisonné Decoration depicting foul, insects, and various foliage, Circa 1885. Decidedly American though the true manufacturer of these vessels is unknown to us having only been marked by the retailer Bailey Banks and Biddle of Philadelphia. It is our belief that these were made by Ott & Brewer of the nearby ceramics center of Trenton New Jersey for Bailey Banks and Biddle. Minor loss of gilt decor otherwise excellent undamaged condition. Miraculously these retain the stopper which are also crisp and clean.
