An Amphora Pottery Handled Basket by Alexandra Porzellan Works, Turn, Austria in the manner of Paul Dachsel. Whether this is or isn’t a PD design is debatable but what is undeniable is the influence at play on this lovely pot. Note the pierced work, the geometry to the handle, and the glaze treatment ~ ALL tell-tale signs of PD’s eye and hand. The markings to underside were used for a short period from 1908-1910. Priced as if PD had nothing to do with it.
